Shadow Work + Seeing Your Whole Self

Self reflection, shadow work, and seeing your whole self.-2.png

Struggling to complete shadow work may mean we have made our shadows unwelcome.

We have made a part of ourselves unwelcome.

But, shadows complete us. They make us whole.

Doing your "shadow work" is becoming comfortable with the juxtaposition of life and appreciating it's fullness.

We've each had our interactions with dark in our human experience.

But, the experience is nothing to hide.

Consider why there would be any reason be scared (of you)?

What about the encounter (with yourself) makes you worry?

What does the interaction require of you?

If you can remember that you create all that is, what is there to be afraid of?

Meet yourself in the depths of the dark and bring to light what has been inside you all along.

All the times we remember, know that spirit is with us -- assisting with recall.

Part of shadow work is remembering.

It's inviting quality time and transmutation with spirit.

If you're feeling summoned forth to experience the depth of your womb and the dark of the cosmos through profound awareness, there’s nothing to fear.

Shadow Work Reminders

— Enter with intentions of grace and gentleness.

— Brief your support system before doing the work. Loved ones can hold your space and energy as a lifeline if you fear taking on too much suffering.

— Don't push to stay longer than is comfortable. Know how deep to go by what your inner knowing, connection to your light, allows.

— Communicate with light, too.

— It's a work in progress. You'll come into smoother relationship and unity with shadows as you bridge the gap between the light.

Shadow work is a powerful companion to a new moon.

The dark moon serves as a fresh slate. A chance to plant a seed.

What intention are you setting for the new moon in Libra?
