5 BENEFITS OF SHADOW WORK

Hi there, today I'm going deep. I'm sharing some of my shadows with you because... we all have them. The sooner we are able to reflect on what we categorize in black and white, the sooner we can learn to live more comfortably in the grey area.

This little letter will give you a preview of my most recent therapy experience + give you 5 reasons as to why exploring your shadow self will benefit your LIFE.

You can watch the full 30-minute vlog + access a library of resources guiding you to stay high vibration and do the shadow work by becoming a WELL CONNECTED member.

5 BENEFITS OF SHADOW WORK

It can be challenging to look within and see what has been hidden. However, when we develop a process for reflection and forgiveness we can blend the contrast of dark and light. Here are 5 benefits of diving into shadow work:

🖤 The feeling of release — our shadows are often parts of ourselves we’ve been carrying and unwilling to look at for some time. Imagine addressing and freeing the cycles that keep you chained and unavailable for change. Surely, you’ll feel relief.

🖤 Connecting with your inner child — unfortunately many of us experience traumas at a young age that leave us on the defense and feeling disconnected from our innocence. Removing the layers of protection in a safe environment allows us to nurture stunted versions of ourselves.

🖤 Reaching your edge — shadow work involves exploration of what makes you uncomfortable. The practice by nature, nudges you toward your capacity.

🖤 Healing old wounds, unpleasant experiences + poor habits — our subconscious has great influence on our perceptions and behavior despite our attempts to reprogram consciously. Shadow work can help us finally pivot from longstanding suffering and its effects.

🖤 Deeper compassion — done properly, this practice requires steady openness and grace. It’s bound to be messy, ugly, confusing + beyond. The wholistic perspective you’ll gain of yourself will remind you of your incredible capacity. Honor it with tenderness.
